Love Island’s Luke Packham and Cassie Lansdell Have Officially Ended Their Romance

After an on-again, off-again romance, Love Island‘s Luke Packham and Cassie Lansdell have officially called time on their relationship.

Despite having agreed to casually see each other on the outside world upon their elimination, Luke confirmed to Daily Mail Australia today that they are no longer romantically linked.

“We tried to see how things would work in the real world, but ultimately decided that we’re better off as friends without benefits,” he told the publication.

“Cassie’s a great girl and instead of complicating things we think it’s better to just let it go now while we’re still good friends. . . we really gave it our best shot inside the villa and out in the real world so there’s no regret.”

After partnering up over in Fiji, Luke and Cassie started off as one of the villa’s strongest couples. However, their frequent arguing exposed cracks in their relationship, and they were ultimately eliminated on the same night.

Once back in Australia, they had decided to explore their relationship while classifying themselves as ‘friends with benefits’, and were photographed kissing in a Sydney park earlier this month.

While the pair may have parted ways, Luke’s twin brother Josh and his villa love Anna McEvoy appear to still be going strong.
