‘Summer day’ with top of 32C
Temperatures will creep into the 30s for much of South Australia today, as early forecasts suggest the Easter long weekend could be just as warm.
A maximum temperature of 32C is forecast in Adelaide today with sunny skies, while it is expected to hit 35C in Port Pirie, Murray Bridge and Renmark.
Duty forecaster at the Bureau of Meteorology says it’s like a “summer day”.
It will cool down slightly on Wednesday and Thursday with a top of 27C and 23C respectively.
We could even see a slight shower in Adelaide tomorrow.
The weather bureau is predicting a warm Easter weekend with a maximum of 31C on Friday and Saturday.
“Not every year we’ll see temperatures this hot this late in April,” said duty forecaster Vince Rowlands.
