Molotov cocktail damages tattoo parlour

A molotov cocktail was used to damage a tattoo shop inAdelaide’s south overnight, the MFS say.

Police and MFS received reports of a fire about 2:40am at the Christies Beach shop on Beach Rd.

The blaze was extinguished quickly by MFS crews and no one was injured.

Police believe the attack is deliberate with about $2000 worth of damage to the shop front window and some of its interior.

Police are investigating.

Meanwhile, firefighters have contained at blaze at a plastics factory in Adelaide’s northwest.

A monitored alarm alerted MFS to the fire at Trident Plastics on Torrens Rd at St Clair about 5.20am on Monday.

Eight appliances carrying 24 firefighters responded to the threat in a large manufacturing machine, which took 15 minutes to contain.

The factory manufactures rubbish bins.
